Camping site information

Leopard Camp is our second biggest camping site, where about 6 vehicles will fit. This camp is as close to the river as you will get! This camp has a minimum of 4 adults per night. Like all of our other camping sites, this camp is exclusive and only one group can book at a time.

This camp has some extra features, such as an elevated deck over the waters edge, which links to the kitchenette. In the kitchenette you will find a wash-up area and a can of drinking water. A few meters behind the kitchenette, underneath a Marula tree, you will find the private ablution.

The river in front of this camp is ideal for fishing, and the deeper waters create one of the best swimming spots on the farm. Please bring your own canoe or kayak to enjoy on the river.

Those who wish to relax at the camp, will definitely experience the abundant wildlife, especially birds, at this camp. Be on the lookout for Eagle Owls, African Finfoot, Kingfishers, as well as Buffalo, Nyala, Impala, and even a genet or civet, who might pass by.

The two showers and two toilets are all in separate cubicles. Although there is no electricity at the camp, there is a donkey/wood-fired water heater for those lovely hot showers, as well as for the kitchenette. The firepit is next to the kitchenette, towards the water. Limited wood is provided and included in the rate. More wood can be purchased on the farm. We also sell ice at reception.

There are solar lights in the ablution and kitchenette.

  • A high clearance 4x4 vehicle is recommended, especially during the summer months.

  • Click on the ‘Book now’ button. Complete and submit the form. Someone from our team will send you an email, informing you on the availability. Should the camp be available, you will receive an invoice. To secure your booking, you will be required to pay the deposit (50%) within 7 days of receiving your invoice.

  • If you cancel your booking more than 1 month before arrival, we will refund 50% of the deposit.

    If you cancel your booking more than 2 weeks (and less than 1 month) before arrival, we will refund 25% of the deposit.

    If you cancel your booking less than 2 weeks before arrival, we will not refund your deposit.
